ABOUT ME
I was born into a large family of six-. three siblings and me, in an extremely industrial town; noisy because of the factory bells and whistles and difficult to walk around as it was full of very step hills, but as welcoming, open and friendly as the people from Eibar are. I had a happy childhood, whizzing down the hill my house sat on with my iron skates that sparked from how fast I flew on them with a smell of cutting-oil that Ican still smell today, that would whiff pas the entrance to my house, where the best artisan rifles in the world were manufactured, so typically from Eibar…
My time at university helped me discover my passion and curiosity for all that was foreign and so I spend a good part of those years in Germany, France and the UK, where I spent long stays for different purposes, both for working or studying. There were some good experiences and some not so good ones, buy they make you who you are now and enrich and strengthen you, but above all help you to value what you leave behind, those unwavering values that you learn during childhood.
Inevitable, the moment of thought arrives and you join the labour market. That’s when I realized that the smell of iron seemed to have penetrated more deeply into my blood than I thought it had, as since joining the labour market, back in 1998, I have always worked in the industrial sector, fully focused on the development of international markets and to tell you the truth, I enjoy it inmmensely: getting projects up and running, developing them. Simply, I like to create.
As part of my own creation and combined with my other passion that is the Decoration and the taste for beautiful things, I would like to present you my project, Leires’s Korner, A Touch of Class. This passion which inspires me to swallow thousands of magazines and books about different styles from different countries, during the endless hours of waiting at airports and lonely dinners in hotels. I am very thrilled about my innovative project and to open to you the doors to my personal taste and to artist that I enjoy very much and value highly. Hope it entertains you.
